For some time now I’ve been collecting interviews for Revolutions: The Story of the DJ, a documentary series about the history of DJing. When it came time for Hip-Hop to celebrate its 50th birthday, I partnered with Pioneer DJ / AlphaTheta to narrow the focus of that research to the importance of the DJ in advancing the musical movement that took over the world.
